During the season there will be regular roll ups where you can practice your bowls and meet other members and socialise. Also throughout the season there will be friendly matches arranged against other local Bowls Clubs. Check the club notice boards for these fixtures and the forms to indicate if you would like to play. There is no fee to play in these matches as all home fixtures are included in your annual subscription. There may be a cost associated with food at some away fixtures. All members are encouraged to play in these friendly matches. In addition to these games the club will also arrange internal competitions to run throughout the season, again all members are welcome to take part.
Roll Ups
Roll Ups will run on Tuesday and Thursday throughout the season. These roll ups will start at 1:30pm and finish around 4pm. If you want to take part please come along at 1:15pm to register so we can sort out the teams. Don't forget your 20p for tea and biscuits.
Tring Bowls Club Competition Entry
The best time to enter competitions is when you renew your annual subscription as you can then include the entry cost along with your subscription before sending it to the treasurer (Jim Bowyer). The entry fee for each internal competitions is £3.00.
The competition secretaries are Steve Tanner and Lyn Boniface, please contact either of them with any queries. Competition entries for men or ladies competitions are to be sent to both Steve and Lyn. If you prefer to post your form, ring Steve or Lyn for address details.
